Please help our friends Duffy and Hannah.
Medical emergencies do not discriminate. They can touch each of us and change the course of our lives forever. In the case of our dear friends Duffy and Hannah Snowhill, this devastating event happened on March 19th when Duffy suffered his second major stroke in the last three years. Like the proud and self sufficient people they are, they have never asked for help or even a single dime.
A transplant from Finland, Duffy is a member of the music community and plays bass for the band Big Elf. Hannah and Duffy met and fell in love and married soon after. Their commitment to each other is powerful.
Three years ago Duffy experienced his first major stroke. At that time, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition in which the blood vessels in his brain spontaneously collapse. This most recent stroke has left him unable to speak, eat, or walk without assistance. Hannah is their sole provider and now his full time caregiver.
On behalf of these incredible friends we all love so much, this Go Fund Me has been created to ask for the help they would never ask for themselves. The goal is to assist with medical transport to Finland where Duffy can receive the skilled services he requires and to be near family during this difficult time.
