We hope you can support us in our 68th year of providing Passover food to needy families in and around Baltimore who, without help, may not have a Seder dinner. Since 1952, through donations likes yours and the sale of "mitzvah" cards, we distribute "baskets" of food to needy families, each filled with matzoh, gefilte fish, candy, chicken, fruits and vegetables, soup mix, salt, sugar, matzoh meal, soup nuts, potato starch, wine, nuts, preserves, butter, horseradish, eggs, and many other foods needed for the holiday. Each is delivered just before the holiday to people and families in need -- seniors, disabled, or just those that don't have enough to buy food for the holiday.
We rely on your generosity to continue our mission. If you have donated in the past---thank you. If you have not recently donated please consider a gift of $125, the cost of one basket of food, and help us continue this tradition. Of course, we accept contributions of all amounts.

"In April 1952, the Dora and Samual Carp family began distributing Passover food baskets to needy Jewish Families. From this modest origin, the Passover Basket Fund was born. Each overflowing basket is personally delivered and, because there are absolutely no administrative expenses, one hundred percent of all contributions go toward the purchase of food. This tradition has continued each year through gifts such as this and will help someone have a Passover holiday which otherwise may not be possible." *
