Have you ever read a book where every line is visualized in your mind? Many of us have had that experience each time USA Best Selling Author Beverly Jenkins pens a story. Regardless of the genre, historical fiction, contemporary romance, or women's literature, Ms. Bev., which she is affectionately called by her legions of fans, nails it with every line she writes. When an author’s work affects each of her readers in that way, those stories should be seen on film.

Beverly Jenkins is the recipient of the 2017 Romance Writers of America Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as the 2016 Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award for historical romance. She has been nominated for the NAACP Image Award in Literature. Beverly was featured both in the documentary “Love Between the Covers” and on CBS Sunday Morning. Since the publication of Night Song in 1994, she has been leading the charge for multicultural romance. She has been a constant darling of reviewers, fans, and her peers. In addition to garnering accolades for her work from the likes of The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, and NPR.

That’s what her bio tells you. Allow me to share the emotional impact on thousands of readers of stories told by the woman known as Beverly Jenkins. It’s her writing skills that capture your mind first. For me it is the fact filled historical romance that tells a past not found in our schoolbooks. Next it is the clandestine NIA series, which takes protecting the country’s democracy to a level we pray we have. Last, it is visiting the real small town, Henry Adams, KS that was purchased during an auction as Beverly turned it into the most delightful story of a community that opens its arms to orphan children. Each story entices you to get to know the woman who creates characters we want to spend our lives with and the settings we try to recreate within our communities. Beverly’s stories encourage, enlighten, educate and the most important of all, teach you to love. You literally fall in love with her oh so fine men, and the strong, independent women.

Let’s talk about passing the torch. Beverly has mentored many authors through the process of writing that first novel and guided many more through the professional side of the publishing industry. By her actions, Beverly taught us how to appreciate readers and their devotion to authors. Beverly Jenkins showed us how to tell our stories our way.

Now we have a chance to return the kindness. Help Beverly tell her story Deadly Sexy, her way, by reading more about this amazing project.

Siri Austin Entertainment is proud to be along for this journey to bring Deadly Sexy to the big screen. At Siri Austin Entertainment, we provide a gateway for authors to share their talents with the world through various mediums such as books and film. What we are doing at Siri Austin Entertainment is not a new concept. We are finding ways to open doors for those who are often overlooked for reasons we don’t always understand. For publishing and film projects we often hear people say, “I’m waiting for the green light.”  Well, at Siri Austin we are showing you how to green light yourself. Not just with publishing, but with film projects as well. You have to believe in your dreams and be willing to invest in them. Ask yourself this question, if you do not believe in your skill, your talent, or your product enough to invest in it, how can you expect someone else to?

With that in mind, in 2014 Siri Austin Entertainment financed and produced The Heart TV Series – Season One, based on the first book of The Heart series written by our CEO and Owner, author, Iris Bolling. We followed up with Season Two of The Heart in 2016.

Siri Austin Entertainment, which is owned by award-winning author Iris Bolling, and the renowned Beverly Jenkins, are putting the theory of authors supporting authors to the test by partnering to bring the intriguing story, Deadly Sexy to film.
WE, Beverly and Siri Austin are asking for your assistance to raise the funds needed to  complete this project. All donations to this campaign received by Siri Austin Entertainment will be used towards the  production and promotion of Deadly Sexy the movie.  We have 30 days to reach our goal. Yes, it is aggressive. Yes, it is a short amount of time. However, we believe your love for Beverly and the thought of seeing her work on film will get us to that goal. Beverly has touched a lot of hearts, let's touch hers by raising the funds to pay for, but not limited to:

Studio Space
Travel and Lodging for cast and crew
Craft services
Filming Insurance
Filming permits

All aspects of producing Deadly Sexy will need to be covered to ensure this project is complete from inception to distribution.

The making of Deadly Sexy is a significant step  for all authors. It will give hope to those who dream of having their book made into a film. It also open doors of opportunity for actors and crew members who desire a chance to show their skills during the production. It also gives independent film makers a chance to show the advancement of our products to the masses.
