DRUMS FOR MAPLES

The Maples Arabic Drumming Ensemble is a point of pride and an important aspect of our school and community. Maples Elementary is a Title 1, K-5 elementary school with about 650 students, in Dearborn, Michigan.
Students in the advanced drumming group perform throughout the community and for numerous benefits during the year, including the Festival of Trees to support Michigan Children's Hospital and the Relay for Life held in Dearborn, Mi.
Our goal is to purchase 20 new drums to add to the 10 we have. The darbuka drums will cost about $65.00 each from a nearby supplier.
Help me surprise our students with the drums this fall, so that we can begin the year with a BANG!
