*2/1/18 - Hello Friends!! Thank you all for your incredible support! Your donations have helped us save and completely transform our legendary home! Although rewards ended 1/31/18, you can still donate to the studio by clicking "donate" or stopping by to see us in person. Every dollar gets put back into the studio for upgrades and renovations. Hi Friends! We are Teresa Espinosa, Marie “Maryss From Paris” Wright, and her husband, Austin Wright. You may or may not know; we are officially the new owners of Debbie Reynolds Legacy Studios (formerly known as Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio) in the heart of North Hollywood, CA!
This incredible blessing has been divinely placed into our hands, and we could not be more excited and humbled! However, we are hanging on by a thread and need your help.
This tremendous honor of keeping the legacy of Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio alive is coming at a considerable cost. Not only is there massive overhead to run the studio, but we’ve taken over during the two slowest months of the year with the holiday season coming. It is a significant risk to assume the business as is, but we have resounding faith and are putting it all on the line.
The studio needs crucial upgrades. We intend to renovate and open rooms that have never been accessible to the public, add extra rehearsal studios, a spacious concept lobby, a zen room, new flooring, mirrors, light fixtures, furniture, and paint. All of that work going into a 20,000 square foot upgrade while maintaining the existing soul of the studio.
Since the announcement, everyone has been asking how they can help. Well, here’s your chance to give back and be a part of Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio's iconic legacy! WE NEED YOUR HELP! We cannot do this alone and keeping this historic place open is our ONLY option. ALL money donated to this cause goes directly into maintaining the studio and the much-needed improvements to establish the next generation’s creative space.
With the operating expenses and renovations, this project costs over $75,000. We graciously ask the dance community and entertainment industry worldwide to help us collectively give back to this magical place and rebuild our house together!
