ELIMINATING SEXUAL VIOLENCE, ONE BUSINESS AT A TIME
Alcohol use is prevelant in the majority of unwanted sexual behavior.
Drink Safe Florida trains service industry owners and staff to identify and address sexual violence on both sides of the bar.
Our non-profit aims to offer bars and restaurants an annual program that includes three hours of on-site DSF training, team building exercises, de-escalation and sensitivity training; necessary printed material(s), with updates as required; and door and window decals signifying DSF certification.
By the end of Drink Safe Florida’s first yCurrently, the basket is valued at over $500, and contains a 2008 Thomas Hardy and a 2012 Westvleteren XII!
ear, we want to cover a minimum of 60 bars and restaurants in the Volusia and Orange County areas. We have been in contact with many local establishments that have expressed interest in participating in our launch, slated for March 2017.
The support of members of the community and local organizations is crucial to the development of our program. As we work to build an effective and reputable program, your sponsorship will allow us to offer this beneficial program to establishments free of charge.
