Always Remembering R. Bellows
My name is Kelsey Muffler and I had the absolute pleasure of teaching Randy for the last two years at Toomer Elementary in Atlanta, Georgia. Over these two years I grew exceptionally close to the Bellows family, who have always been the most loving and supportive individuals. This last year, I also gained the pleasure of teaching Randy's younger sister. I was so happy to have another spirit just as bright as Randys.
On Thursday, August 28th, 2014, we lost an amazing son, brother, cousin, student and friend. Randy Bellows was a beloved fifth grader at Toomer Elementary, with a heart of gold and the most contagious smile. He smiled big enough to make others want to smile, he loved deeply enough to impact a life and he always gave his all in all that he did. He inspired others to be better, and in twelve short years, he left his mark on all those he knew. Sometimes, the Lord just takes blessed people because they've filled their purpose early. Everyone plays their own song. They sing their story to the world and leave behind a melody of memories. Sometimes, their song is cut short and ends too early. But that doesn't mean their music was any less sweet or that they left any less of an impression. Randy's song will continue to sing, and his footprints are forever imprinted on everyone with whom he met.
Our goal in creating this page is to raise enough money to take all financial burdens off of Randy's amazingly loving family. These donations will be applied directly towards Randy's funeral services, to ensure he receive the beautiful memorial that he so deserves. As we have already reached our goal of 8,000, in 104 hours!, the remaining donations will be given to the family to help support their emotional coping in the days, weeks and months to come. This money will be directly deposited to Ms. Thomas's account, who is Randy's ever loving grandmother and guardian.
