Sonoma and Napa County Fire Relief

Destination Races is the Sonoma-based producer of the wine-themed Wine Country Half Marathon Series. As members of the Napa and Sonoma communities, we are deeply saddened by the destruction faced by loved ones, colleagues, partners, local businesses, and all people connected with our iconic wine regions.

Our events are focused on building a community of active enthusiasts and supporting partners who share a passion for running and a love of the wine country experience, with all its scenic beauty. This week, we have watched entire neighborhoods and hillsides erupt in flames in seconds as people and animals lose their homes, possessions, and in some cases, their lives.

We want to give back to the people of the Napa and Sonoma Counties who have lost so much in so little time. In doing so, we hope to provide some immediate relief and energize the recovery process.

We have also set up this GoFundMe page as a place for our international community of runners to contribute to fire relief and recovery in our beloved wine country. All funds raised will be donated directly to regional relief efforts as needs become apparent. We will be updating you as to how the funds are ultimately dispersed so YOU can see the personal impact your donation makes in our communities.

We have already seen our community members near and far respond with an overwhelming outpour of love and support, and for that we thank you immensely! We are so hopeful that we can make a positive impact on all those affected through our donations, support, and love.
