Violet's Medical fund
Donation protected
My nephew Scott (Eddie) and his wife Karley received devastating news on November 6th, 2015. Their middle daughter, Violet, (who is only 2) was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She is at Children's Hospital, in Washington D.C. After running many tests, they have already begun chemotherapy, which will last for about a month. The next few weeks will be extremely difficult-emotionally, physically and financially. Karley will be staying at the hospital, while Scott and Karley's family will be taking care of their other 4 children, working and trying to keep things running as smoothly as possible. Like most of us, this couple does not have the luxury of a big emergency fund to draw on, and every day expenses are already adding up. Any time that Scott is able to get off is unpaid, and their car has chosen this time to become very unreliable. This young couple is very uncomfortable asking for any kind of help and although their extended families are doing what they can, this is a time that "It takes a village to raise a child". I send my sincere thanks to all. Robin
