Complete the Great Egress for Douglas Day
Donation protected
-- We're overwhelmed with the support from Doug's friends and family. Any contributions beyond the original goal will go towards mixing and mastering all of the songs he recorded, instead of just what would fit on a CD. I can't wait to tell the studio team that everything is moving ahead! --
Douglas Turner Day IV was an accomplished musician known for his mastery of Blues music - and in particular, the Piedmont Blues style. We've not heard the last from him. Over the past year, he spent time at a studio in Charlottesville, where with a number of different guitars, he recorded more than 30 songs that were favorites in his repertoire. On the recordings, he included country blues and rags, risque hollers, and noble praise songs. He titled these recordings The Great Egress.
Your contribution will go toward mixing, mastering, manufacturing, and packaging The Great Egress. This work will be done at the studio Doug was recording at, finalized by the team he had been working with.
Upon completion, The Great Egress will be made available to all.
