This is an urgent appeal for me. You might know me as Nostalgia Nerd, or possibly just Peter. Others call me Ace, or ace hole.
This appeal is for me and my own, self derived needs to obtain a low cost PC capable of running Doom. It's also because I want to do a video review of Doom, but I'm currently unable to. This is the only way I would ever be able to justify the purchase of some new hardware... Just like the good' ol days, before bills, society, responsibilities and shite.
I don't expect this campaign to work, nor do I expect people to contribute, but what the hell!... it's worth a go!
Although this campaign is made more for fun, it's sadly very true that my current laptop just isn't up to the task. Trust me, I'ved tried.
This is also the lowest cost option I can see to play DOOM. MUST HAVE DOOM. DOOOOM.
