Support for Girard's daughter

Tragedy has struck our small peaceful town of Parkville, MO, in the late hours of June 10, 2018.   Maggie Girard's daughter (14 years old) is the sole survivor of a 4 person domestic murder/suicide in which she witnessed the shooting of her mother, her grandparents and ended with her father taking his own life.  We all question why these events seem to happen with increased frequency but we also know how communities step up to assist its victims in times of need.   Maggie's daughter will live with this life changing event but it does not and should not be the only narrative.  This GoFundMe account is being set up to financially assist Maggie's daughter with living, counseling and educational expenses while her support group and members of our community work to bring her back to a sense of normalcy.   No amount of money will bring her immediate family members back, but it will show her the love and support that friends, community members and complete strangers have provided countless times before on this platform.    To clarify, money raised by this campaign will be placed directly into a bank account and used for the sole purpose to financially assist Maggie's 14 year old daughter with living, counseling and educational expenses.
