Welcome to Paula's Race to Recovery 2.0, a new campaign to CONTINUE the support and prayer for this year.
Paula was diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Dimyelinating Polyneuropathy) in 2015 , an extremely rare autoimmune disease. We are now in 2017 and fortunately Paula is showing signs of improvement, she can move with a walker and do a lot more things on her own.
BUT... the race continues.
Paula still receives an expensive treatment every three weeks for which the deductible is $2,600 monthly. Paula would not be improving if it weren't for this treatment (immunoglobulin therapy). Additionally, she needs a caregiver 24/7 who assists her with her daily tasks and helps her with her five beautiful children, as well as help with additional transportation costs, therapy treatments at Shepherd center, and babysitters.
On behalf of all of us involved, we thank you for your donations and prayers. Every amount makes of difference. Many of you have spent countless hours helping Paula, being a friend during this time in need, helping with babysitting. We couldn't be more grateful for the circle of family and friends that has surrounded Paula.
But - we do ask that you keep praying for her recovery, so that she can end this 2017 with a lot of progress. And we do ask - that if it possible for you, to give out a donation. A monthly donation would be IDEAL. It would be an enourmous help.

Hola! Bienvenidos a "Paula's Race to Recovery 2.0", una nueva campaña para CONTINUAR con el apoyo y las oraciones para este año 2017.
Paula fue diagnosticada con PIDC (Polineuropatía Desmilienizante Inflamatoria Crónica) en el 2015. Ahora nos encontramos en el 2017 y Paula puede caminar un poco, con la andadera, y es más independiente que antes.
PERO, la lucha continua.
Paula todavía debe recibir tratamientos de inmunoglobulina cada tres semanas. Aunque el seguro medico lo cubre, el deducible suma a $2,600 al mes. Paula no estaría recuperandose si no fuera por estas infusiones. Ella todavía necesita una persona que la cuide y la asiste 24/7 en sus tareas cotidianas, y en el cuido de sus cinco hijos. Los gastos mensuales incluyen: deducible de las infusiones, el costo de su caregiver, de su transporte, de babysitting, y de sus terapias en Shepherd Center, que son cruciales para su recuperación.
De parte de nosotros, su familia, les agradecemos por todo lo que han hecho por ella y por nosotros. Muchos han donado para que esta campaña sea exitosa. Cada monto ha generado una GRAN diferencia. Muchos han donado de su tiempo para ayudar a Paula, siendo su apoyo en momentos de necesidad, ayudando con los niños, o con sus recursos.
