Hello! My name is Lacie Price, the owner and master trainer at High Blaise Kennel. I have had the pleasure of being contacted by Liz Young for assistance with obtaining a new psychiatric service dog. She is on disability and is an amazing foster for animals with special needs. We are looking to raise $8,000 for a new prospect as well as training.
A little blip from Liz:
Hi Everyone, my name is Liz Young, I am reaching out to the community for assistance with raising funds for a service dog. I have multiple disabilities, one being CPTSD (chronic post-traumatic stress disorder) which requires me to have a service dog to mitigate my disabilities. Without a service dog to assist me, I'm not able to perform daily activities such as going to the store, doctor's appointments, taking my fosters to the vet, etc. I currently foster special needs animals from shelters and homes that would likely be euthanized if not placed. My current service dog, Kingston, is 7 years old now and has recently been diagnosed with arthritis. Kingston's diagnosis of arthritis has led him to the beginning of his retirement that he so very much deserves. I am reaching out to the community for help. I have hired a reputable trainer that specializes in service dogs to assist me in the search and training of my new service dog. We are trying to raise $8,000 for the purchase of a prospect, training, and gear. Thank you for taking the time to read and assist me with getting a new service dog.
