I believe that one thing we can all do in this world to make it better for someone else, is to be selfless.
When i met Stephen, i was confronted with someone who had gone through a lot, but wanted to give so much to others.
A cancer survivor himself, Stephen has made it a point in his life to be a light to others who have or who are going through what he has experienced.
Stephens fight isnt over, but he is a warrior and a champion in so many ways.
A few years ago, Stephen was invovled in an accident that left him without a way to get to work, and help get him to the social meetings he was involved in that were about helping others.
The holidays are upon us, and for this campaign, i am asking you to open up your hearts, turn out some pockets, flip over some couch cushions, check under your car seats and donate a dollar, yes just ONE dollar and help me get Stephen back on the road.
I know what you are thinking, its just a dollar and cars cost a lot. This is true, but with your help, im hoping we can spread the word using social networking and make this a viral thing.
If you are wanting to donate more, thats awesome. However, im only asking dor a dollar and Stephen, his family and i would encourage you to send any donations above 1$ to any of the many cancer study organizations and charities and help the fight against these terrible illnesses.
UPDATE**!!! There may be an issue with donating a dollar based on gofundme policies. There may be a minimum amount to donate that i wasnt aware of til now. I know its asking more but please, this is a kid that has had EVERYTHING ripped from him.
