Dog rescued from Euthanasia

I am a veterinary technician that just rescued this sweet girl from Euthanasia. She is suspected to be about 6 years old... but might be a little older. She was originally adopted from a shelter about a year and a half ago from a customer that comes to my work. Before the shelter she was used for breeding at a puppy mill. This customer that adopted her got arrested about 6 months ago and is likely going to be spending the rest of his life in prison. For the past  6 months, she has lived alone in a empty house waiting for someone to feed her, walk her, love her or even pay attention to her. Instead she was lucky if she would recieve one meal a day.
She was brought to my attention today when someone called my work and wanted a quote to have her euthanized, they said that she has medical issues and there weren't any shelters that would take her... The lady told me that she has bad ears and is shaking her head a lot. I told the lady that I would take her get her fixed up and find her a loving home that she deserves. After taking her I discorer she has more than just a ear infection.... she has Lyme diesease, fleas, a horrible skin infection, mange, a heart murmur, broken teeth, open wounds on the flap of her ears, arthritis, she is severely under weight.
She is such a sweet girl and I am hoping to give her a third chance at being loved and having a home.
