D.O.G. 's medical expenses

D.O.G. is not only my dog, he is my best friend and family member. For over the last year he has been having some significant medical issues with hypothyroid disease, possible cushings disease, and labored breathing. He has been going through testing and taking medications that were addressing some issues but not all, so he was referred to a specialist. During his specialist appointment  x-rays of his heart, lungs, and abdomen were redone and it was discovered that his heart was enlarged, his lung capacity was incredibly diminished, and he had pancreatitis, so the specialist hospitalized him. He spent two days in an oxygen tank while receiving further testing, where it was confirmed that he has congestive heart failure. Fortunately, he responded wonderfully to the medication and his lung capacity greatly improved. During all of this I asked the specialist if it was his time to go because I do not want him to suffer or have a poor quality of life. She was adamant that it is not yet his time and with the the proper follow-up care and medication, D. O.G. can have a comfortable and happy life.  I am doing everything I can to afford his bills and the upcoming treatments but would be utterly greatly for any assistance that can be provided. For those of you who know him, I am sure that you can confirm that D.O.G. is one of the best darn dogs around who offers so much love to world!
