Pine Ridge Sustainable Homestead

We are looking to establish an off grid tiny house homestead to use as a working model in self sufficient living that is completely sustainable
Our goal is to live in the tiny house while using a blog , utube video's and website to document the project for one year .
The teaching will cover different gardening techniques step by step as well as other aspects of sustainable living off grid in an ecologically responsible manner
Topics will include sustainable gardening and demonstrations will include several gardening methods such as
Container garden
Sq ft garden
No till garden
Hay bale garden
Mittleider garden
And our personal adaptation which we call the
DoLittle garden
The entire garden season will be documented from garden planning to preservation of the harvest and seed saving .
We will grow 30 varieties of open source vegetables with an emphasis on the 5 staples needed for survival
The goal is to create an active ongoing model of self sufficient, eco friendly , off grid living that can be duplicated by anyone
We would like to begin the first of the year by establishing the teaching media and topics to be covered. If we could purchase and have the tiny house moved in by February then everything would be on schedule with our growing season .
