My First Classroom
Hi I'm Tanner Nielsen. I am going to be a 2nd grade teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. This will be my first year as a teacher, and I want to create a Super Mario Bros. Themed classroom. I have always been passionate about video games, and I believe creating a classroom to reflect my passions will also nurture a learning environment both comfortable and accessible. Students deserve to know what makes you tick; and I can't think of any better way to do that then doing a Mario classroom like I have always wanted.I want to be the teacher that I wish I had when I was in second grade. My 2nd grade teacher was amazing. I just want to take everything I learned from her and become the best I can be. The money will be going towards things such as a rug, Mario wall decorations, reading books, paper, and craft supplies. Donations of ANY size are welcome, as any money donated will help to ease the load for of my out of pocket expenses towards my classroom. In this case, 50¢ is welcome. Please don't think you need to donate exorbitant amounts. Thank you in advance!
