Dismuke Family Fundraiser

Thank you for viewing our fundraising page for the Dismuke family.   We greatly appreciate your support of this amazing family. 

Eight months ago, the Dismuke family received crushing news when Jonathan was diagnosed with Stage IV Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma.  With positivity, strength and bravery, Jonathan and his family entered into the battle of a life time.  Having just welcomed their baby boy, Jones, just three months prior, this battle took on a new and deeper meaning.  Jonathan began his treatment plan, enduring eight rounds of chemotherapy that would hopefully eradicate the cancer and allow him to continue to live his life as the great family man and friend that we all know him to be.  Amazingly, after the 8th round, his most recent scan in April came back clear.  However, the journey towards total remission continues with scans every few months to assure that the cancer has not returned.  Jonathan will not be declared officially cancer free until all scans and blood work have been clear for five years.  

The past eight months have been grueling physically, emotionally, and financially.  Jonathan and family have endured countless doctors appointments, CT scans, PET scans, ER visits, biopsy's, surgeries, tests, scans, stents, ports, hospital stays, chemo, CSF injections and unwanted ailments. Additionally, they have had the added stress of dealing with insurance companies, hospital accounting and legal fees from out-of-network treatments Jonathan received early in the process. It is our hope that the amazing Denver event community will rally together to support this beloved family and ease some of this burden.
