Hope To Help Others

Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Kashinda but you can call me Kay. I am a 40 year old Raleigh resident who really needs a helping hand. Due to Peripheral Neuropathy, which results in nerve damage. A very painful, debilitating condition. The use of my hands with a manual chair and my walking unassisted has become a safety hazard. The sensory nerves that communicate feeling to the brain is absent for me. I am reaching out to my community for your compassion and generosity. I need your help, please. There is no such thing as a small donation as any contribution will be a blessing and treated as such. Prayers for strength to endure are also welcomed. Please feel free to share my post as well. I appreciate it all. I am in dire need of a motorized wheelchair in order to reclaim my life. Sitting to do the dishes or preparing a light meal in the kitchen in a wheelchair will make it safer. While I am not able to hold a traditional job anymore, I strive to do something purposeful with my life.  I have started a support group through MeetUp.com and because it is so hard for me to get around, we meet via Skype. It's overwhelming the number of people who are living with debilitating, chronic illnesses and feel they are alone. I would love to hang out and connect with the group more. We are a developing group who live in chronic pain, so we provide support to each other and share experiences and talk about coping and managing our pain. It sure would feel good to take a ride around the lake on the days when I feel up to getting out for some fresh air. With your help, a motorized wheelchair would allow me to do so. I'm trying all I can to remain hopeful and spread just that, a message of hope. Helping others bring me joy. I feel it's my purpose. I've overcame so many obstacles like 4 brain surgeries. It all has made me stronger which has created a bulk load of experiences to share with those that may need just a bit of encouragement. My fixed income is making it very difficult to get basic needs of a disabled person met, which is what led me to reach out for help along with a huge leap of faith. My ultimate goal is $1000 and so any donation is greatly appreciated. Will you help me as I strive at helping others on their chronic pain journeys. I thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to read my plea for a safer way for me to get around.
