Dimmitt Fire Department 1929 Fire Truck

The City of Dimmitt bought this fire truck brand new in 1929, before the Dimmitt Fire Department was organized in 1946. This fire truck has been in Dimmitt its whole life. It has been parked in the Castro County Museum for roughly the last 40 years because of an engine issue. The Dimmitt Fire Department would like to restore this fire truck to help preserve a piece of our city and county history. This will be used for several different public events.
