Freedom4Girls are a UK-registered charity fighting against period poverty.
We work to support those who menstruate by challenging the stigmas, taboos and gender inequalities associated with menstruation. We do this by providing education, providing period products, promoting product choice and supporting environmentally and financially sustainable options.
Period poverty affects millions of women and girls worldwide, who struggle to afford or access safe menstrual protection. The economic, social and environmental impacts of period poverty are huge, with many of those affected missing out on education and job opportunities simply due to their periods.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are able to purchase materials for washable period packs, collect and distribute donated period products, provide much needed menstrual hygiene management education and be at the heart of policy-influencing discussions surrounding period poverty.

How much should I give?
Donating just £5 will allow us to distribute a month's worth of donated period products to a community group.
A donation of £7.50 (the price of a coffee and a cake!) will provide a school girl in Africa with menstrual hygiene education and a washable period pack that will last up to three years. That's over 140 days of education that she would otherwise miss school, or even drop out altogether.
£20 will provide someone in the UK with a full set of washable cloth pads that will last for years.

We envisage a world in which no girl or woman suffers from period poverty or stigma associated with their periods.
