Devon's Journey to Recovery

On October 26th, Devon suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke. She was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. Currently, she is in critical – but stable condition. Right now, she remains on life support and fully sedated, to keep her safe and comfortable. From here on out, she will be undergoing more tests, surgeries, and has a very long road ahead of her. We will be doing our best to update this page as information and updates become available. Please continue to send prayers, support, and encouragement to our family. The love we have received so far has been amazing and we are more than grateful.


     
For those of you who don’t know, Devon is such a strong fighter. She is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and a fur-mom to 3 crazy doggos and 2 cats. She leaves a mark on everyone she meets, with love and compassion. She never fails to make a friend of everyone. She is strong in her faith and loves everyone endlessly. Her and her husband dedicated their lives to helping others who were in need. Devon will take any task head on and succeed. In this case, she is fighting so hard, and we need your help…

Kevin, her husband, is currently out of work to be by her bedside 24/7. Her daughters and mom stay at the hospital as well. Sydney sometimes takes night-shift when Kevin needs to go home to rest/shower/take care of animals, etc. These funds will be going toward:

-          Helping Kevin and family with accommodations and food for the coming weeks.

-          Kevin and Devon’s upcoming medical bills.

-          Living expenses for Kevin and Devon, as they will be out of work for an extended period working on her recovery.
