Det. Chris Sheehan Memorial Fund
Detective Christopher Sheehan was tragically killed in an automobile accident on August 20th, 2016. He is survived by his parents Jim and Connie, his beautiful fiancée Amanda, and his brother Ryan and his wife Sarah. He is truly missed by a loving family, with a long history of public service.
Chris began his career with the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department in 2009. Chris served as both a Detective and SWAT Team Operator. His dedication to the City of Fort Lauderdale and to the positions he held was evident by his outstanding reputation among his peers and superiors.
For those who knew Chris personally, they knew that he was a wildnerness man who loved hunting, fishing, boating, and all things outdoor. The only thing Chris loved more than the outdoors was his beautiful fiancée Amanda. Chris and Amanda planned to be married this October. He was her world, and she was his.
Chris lived a modest life; he had recently purchased a small home to begin a life together with Amanda. Chris was very handy and began to do some renovations to the home alongside his father. Chris' memory and good times shared live on in the home.
Let’s take this opportunity to show Amanda how much we care about her and Chris by allowing them to keep the precious memory that holds so much of Chris' hard work and effort.
Chris was the type of person who wouldn't ask for anything from anyone, and would give anything to anyone. Chris would want nothing more than for those who are able, to help his family and fiancée in any way they can.
