Housing for Veterans in Detroit

Your Heroes Need You - It's Your Time To Shine!

They say that those who love you the most are the people who are willing to fight for you.
The US Military veterans are Americans who swore to defend you.
They volunteered to fight for years on end, risk life and limb, and die for their country so that you don't have to.
And yet, while you're reading this, there are tens of thousands of homeless veterans suffering from PTSD, having difficulty to find employment, or even sleeping on the streets.
Don't let them feel forgotten. It's your turn to take things into your hands.
Support our campaign and help the veterans of Detroit stay off the streets - it's time for YOU to be THEIR hero!

You can help us house our heroes in Detroit today!
Every day, thousands of American soldiers struggle to deal with adjusting to life outside of the military. They fight to overcome PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) caused by combat and military experiences. They return home and are thrown back in to life as a civilian before fully coping with their experiences in the field. They must balance their military past with their new life, find new employment to cover the cost of living and supporting their families, and they must also find homes to provide a new base camp for themselves.

Too often, this is a struggle for our military heroes. No one should ever return from combat wondering where to call home and how to provide for it. Camp Hope VA (Veteran’s Assistance) is a foundation built for helping our soldiers transition back to civilian life, by offering various housing solutions to our military veterans.

We want to help them achieve their goal. We are working with Camp Hope VA to provide a three-tiered housing program and resources to veterans of the United States military. These services include:

1) Emergency Supportive Housing
2) Transitional Housing
3) Permanent Housing

Ultimately, through housing, we seek to help Veterans regain their sense of stability and assist in their transition to self-sufficiency.

Three homes have generously been donated in the Detroit, Michigan area to provide transitional housing to veterans. This housing will provide safety and stability to veterans and their families, allowing them the much-needed time to transition into rebuilding their civilian lives.

We have contracts in place with the donor allowing us to completely renovate these homes and make them suitable for veteran housing. While we have multiple area contractors and suppliers willing to donate their services and materials to the cause, we are still in need of your help. We are looking to raise $50,000 for the complete renovation of these first three homes:

In addition, we are also working to secure more donated properties in the area. We hope to expand the housing project and continue Camp Hope’s mission in cities across the country. Your funds will allow us to help numerous veterans and their families in need, not just today, but for years to come.

You can help us provide housing for a soldier in need today! Share this campaign, make a small contribution; whatever works for you! Thank you for your time and donations. There's strength in numbers,  every bit counts! Check out our Facebook page  @camphopeva .
