My name is Melissa DiVietri, the founder ofDI Techno , an all ladies agency; and the creator of Still Loading Art and Music Festival
Our agency developed an under the radar festival for the last 9 months to activate our city of Detroit; my homestate of mind.
Sat. May 22 and Sun. May 23
at Beacon Park in Detroit, MI
NEED HELP FINANCIALLY
We took a giant leap of faith to bring Still Loading into downtown Detroit. Our team spent months cold-calling businesses in Detroit to collect sponsorships, 60 calls each day; 35 Linkedin Messages and 45 email outreach messages; we did this daily for 16 weeks - getting shut down every single time. And also being told how crazy we are for thinking about hosting during the pandemic' many even shared their point of views trying to tell us how to change the festival; why it would be better online as a stream and that we would never pull it off because of the covid restrictions in Michigan. We could write a book on this historical making moment making an impossible challenge happen in Detroit; it was so beautiful.
Our outstanding vendor fees pass $20,000K and we didnt even get to pay ourselves for doing all of this. If you can support financially; or would like to sponsor.

We had a fundraiser in draft mode four months ago to prepare for this day but were not allowed to talk about this festival until approval of the special permits department with the city of Detroit. The park managers at Beacon threatened that it would jeopardarize the festival, which made us hopeless that this event would actually happen. Dozens of times we were told it was going to cancel; I kept asking myself why we are doing this. Nine months of under the radar communicating in sub-chats, group chats, zoom calls and text blasts; WE NAILED STILL LOADING. Our agency, Di techno took the hits - risks and rewards. You never truly know what you're getting into; until something like this is planned.
Our dream was always alive; we knew it would be perfect timing. We moved the community; our team are dreamers and that's how we made this possible!
You're probably wondering how can we ask for funding, sponsorships or donations if we can't communicate with anyone online that this event is happening,
The policy for hosting events, according to Downtown Detroit Partnership is a strict process to go thru a chain of commands that do not communicate with each other.
What separates us from the usual processes; is that we move differently - we operate an entire different level. Even though, we had no freedom to talk about this; we were on another level. Please help us!
We owe $25K in fees, credit cards and we didnt get to pay the team. MY TEAM OF ANGELS!
