Fashion Design Study Abroad Program in Italy

My name is Avaé Liyah, I am currently a sophomore at North Carolina State University majoring in Fashion and Textiles Design with a concentration in Textiles design. As a student in the Wilson College of Textiles, we are all strongly encouraged to study abroad to further our studies and get a better understanding of the career path we have chosen in places where fashion is highly prioritized.  I am actively working while in college but will need to raise funds to attend the study abroad program named: Italy Lorenzo de Medici. Being able to attend the Lorenzo de Medici institution would mean the world to me! Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to do something to express my creativity and attending this institution will get me closer to that dream of becoming a designer.  If I am able to study abroad, I will cherish this opportunity forever and will be forever grateful for those of you who helped me get there.  Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read my story.
