Help Derek In His Recovery

On Sunday morning, October 1st I lost everything when my sail boat The Amarie and my home sunk after taken damage from a storm that blew up on the Gulf causing the anchor to slip and the boat started drifting to dangerious shallow ground and rocks whick tore the keel of the boat forcing the keel straight up through the cabin then later busting the stern of the boat causing her to sink to the bottom with everything I own onboard. I tried to save it, but wasn't enough time and it was stay and take a chance on my life or abort and seek safety. After having to sit and watch her go down my heart sunk with her. This wasn't only my small home, but my livelyhood as a photographer and videographer for my company Coastal Boy. Right now I only have the clothes that I am wearing, lost all my work gear, cameras, computers, hard drives with 100's of thousands of my own original artwork and photographs. I lost all my personal hygene products, money, wallet, all my personal paperwork on my business and myself such has berth certificates, ss card and much more. I found myself sitting with just the 35 dollars I had on me, which soon disapeared having to buy a pair of flip flops to have something on my feet and food in my belly. I have never been the one to ever ask anyone for help, but I don't know what to do here. Right now I am staying at a family members house couch surfing for the time being trying to figure out how to recover from this nightmare. Right now I just need to concentrate on replacing the things I absolutely need, clothes, personal hygene products, food to keep my family fed, camera gear and computer so I can get back to work so I can support myself and my girls. I know times are tuff, but if you can find it in your heart to help, even just a little goes a long ways when added together.
