Derby City Horror Attack - Faisal Raja

Our dear neighbour, an innocent taxi driver, had left to go get some food before finishing his shift and going home. However, on exiting the food joint, he was brutally beaten and had took countless blows to the head, resulting in severe head trauma.

The attack was unprovoked and occurred in Derby City Centre, at the Morledge on the 25th of November 2018 during the early hours in the morning.

He is currently fighting for his life in intensive care, having undergone multiple head surgeries and is in a deep, induced coma.

It is extremely sad to know that he was working long and late hours, due to expecting his first child in the coming weeks. An innocent, optimistic and happy individual, who has never caused anyone any harm or trouble.

This sort of attack and situation is everyone’s worst nightmare and if we can help by raising some funds, it would go a long way in showing the couple that as a community and country we care for them.

Let’s get together and raise money for this man who would never have thought twice before helping anyone else.
