PLEASE HELP Rodney Walk Again

November 4th 2012, Rodney was involved in  auto accident. He was  in the hospital, during that time he was  involved in Seven surgeries to try and save the left leg and One surgery to remove half the left lung and half the stomach, that had died whem  the diaphragm split open. Rodney endured  about three months before he was finally able to go home January 25th,2013.... The surgeries on his  lower body included putting metal rods thoughout both legs and through the hips, pins and screws.  ....... They sent Him home with NO help and he was ridden to a bed for 19 months only to leave the house for doctor appointments and minor family fucitions.{[ I dont known about you but I cant lay in a bedfor more than a day or two before going crazy, so I can't begin to pretend to know what 19 months in a BED feels like.}] Once he realized the leg wasnt getting any better without physical therapy and the right medicine. So he did reseach and did alot of praying and talking to doctors.He made the Hard decision to have the left leg removed. So finally on July 1st 2014 at UTMB in galveston, they preformed an AK (above knee) amputation that has had its problems with healing correctly without insurance there is NO HELP  for a 38 year old Male. HE should just get up and do it, but it isnt that easy when you have lost HALF of your movement. Believe it when its said . he has been trying to live without help but the artifical leg he needs is $40,000(that is just the artificial leg ), when he Qualifies for medicare they cover some and he has to come up with $8000, just to start the process of getting the leg built and fitted. They projected $10,000 to $15,000 for physical therapy and travel expenses for transportation and to put in handrails around his house. He knows he  cant ask for all of it just want to get a start on moving his  life forward. So please Donate ,Remember every dollar counts. the GOAL is for JUNE 1ST 2015
