Deondray's Family
Donation protected
Deondray and his family recently had a fire in their home in Southwest Baltimore. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the family lost their home and all of their belongings. Mrs. Moore, Deondray's 2nd grade teacher, Deondray's school community and the Urban Rescue League are asking for help to get the family back on their feet again.
Deondray is a new student at Alexander Hamilton Elementary School in Baltimore this year and he has developed a special relationship with Mrs. Moore. She said, "Deondray loves reading, likes superheoes and has an awesome imagination. He is getting excellent grades, works very hard, tries his best and is loved by all of his classmates."
We are raising money to help Deondray's family replace lost items including furniture, household supplies, kitchen items, and to help them get into a new home as they are currently floating between family and friends. Deondray's mother is pregnant with a baby boy and she is due in March. Donations will also be used to replace lost items for the baby. We are accepting supplies and monetary donations on behalf of the family. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
