Pepper
Tuesday, March 20th started out like every other day. Pepper and Kenigh were in their backyard when a loud scream was heard. After running outside it appeared to be a pack of coyotes who entered the yard and savagely attacked Pepper who was most likely trying to protect his little brother Kenigh. He was bitten around his face, neck, chest and had his left front leg totally degloved! Pepper was rushed to CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital by his owner (LeeAnne) to determine if his life could be saved. LeeAnne was horrified at the thought of euthanizing her devoted furbaby and chose to save Pepper's life by amputating his leg, despite the exorbitant cost. There will also be therapy in Pepper’s future and his days of running and playing in the yard are forever changed. This has caused an incredible financial hardship. Let’s show LeeAnne, her family, and Pepper how much we care by donating whatever we can.
