I can honestly say that Dennis lived life according to this direction whether he knew he was or not...
Without seeking recognition for the many people he encountered and helped along way
Our Friend Dennis' health has taken a turn for the worse. He has not wanted to burden anyone with thoughts of the severity of his condition but it is beyond that now and He Needs Our Help
After being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, Dennis began treatment for his illness. Unfortunately, he was one of the few for which the treatment has a negative effect and he has had to discontinue the course of treatment. While we remain hopeful that Dennis can regain enough strength to attempt another remedy only time and emotional support through these tough times ahead will tell. While he is still being treated in the hospital it appears that he will be going to a rehab hospital to continue his battle. He has been left unable to work and provide for his family for the past month and that will remain as such for the forseeable future.
Along with untold medical expenses, Dennis has a 9yo daughter that we would like to make sure is helped throughout her life if she should lose her father's guidance at such a young age.
I don't believe that there has ever been anything that has meant more to Dennis than his Daughter, Chloe. His determination to see that she was raised right and with proper morals and values should serve as a symbol of his devoton to her and we refuse to allow this illness to take a financial toll on his ability to continue doing just that .
As most people under 50, I suspect, are, Dennis was unprepared to be diagnosed with a terminal illness and the resulting expenses that will most assuredly follow.
He will require 24hr/day nursing care until he can be moved to Skilled care or Hospice.
For a Guy that helped so many, Surely , we can pull together and help Dennis in His time of Need.
