My name is Heather Smith, I live in Brentwood, TN. I've worked in the Beauty Industry for the past 12 years. On August 21st, 2016 I contacted one of my clients (Natalie) in Denham Springs, LA to see if her salon survived the flooding. In talking with her I learned not only had her salon been completely flooded but there were many more salons that had lost everything as well. In addition , many lost their homes. I suggested to Natalie we start a communication page via Facebook to find other stylist and salon owners that needed help and organize relief efforts. Through the generous support of SalonCentric, State Beauty Supply, RDA Pro*Mart, Dozens of Manufacturers, Individuals and Professional Hairdressers we have received hundreds of replacement tools and products. I traveled to Denham Springs to deliver a truck of supplies and saw the aftermath firsthand. It's catastrophic.

This fund is to help replace lost wages and the big stuff. Stations, shampoo bowls, dryer chairs, reception desks, drywall, big stuff.

Donations to the fund will be withdrawn and sent via check directly to the stylist or salon in need.
