A Hero: Demarcus Doss
Demarcus Doss - was a 24 year old loving son, dependable brother, goofy uncle, cheerful nephew, wonderful cousin, amazing friend, determined student but in his last moments many of you may not know that he was a hero.
On March 9, 2017, Demarcus and a friend were driving on the freeway in Richmond, CA when passengers in another vehicle fired at them. Demarcus, a man of courage and the mentality of a protector, shielded his friend with his body. Absorbing most of the bullets. His friend survived with non-life threatening injuries.
While this act was a heroic one, we are deeply saddened to have lost such an exceptional person. We are not surprised of his actions. He was a man that had a genuine loving and caring heart.
The sudden loss has left the family in shock and in need of support. Every and any amount would make a difference. All donations will be given to Demarcus’ brother, Kellis Love.
