CSUB Support Fund - Dedrick Basile

Future Roadrunner Dedrick Basile's family recently endured a Natural Disaster from the Houston Floods during the month of May.    Check out this story http://on.khou.com/1HuaDxJ from the May floods.  The floods caused a fire in their housing complex that the fire department could not get to and their house was reduced the rubble in the picture above.  The family was uninsured and the disaster left them homeless with only the clothes they had on that night as their only possessions.

Dedrick and his family of 4 people have been forced to relocate to a temporary and very empty 2 bedroom apartment.  They experienced a complete loss.  100% of everything in their home and their home itself is gone but they consider themselves fortunate that no one was injured in the disaster.  The family has started from scratch and is trying to get Dedrick off to a good start at CSUB.  They are looking to replace: 

- $2,000 1 King Matress, Bed Frame, Sheets, 2 Twin Mattresses, Bed Frame and Bedding
-$1,500 Kitchen Supplies: Dishes, Silverware, Glasswear, Cleaning Supplies, Stocking of Non-Perishables
-$3000 Living Room Furniture,  Dinner Table with Chairs
- $1000 Two Televisions
- $500 Clothing Essentials
-$2000 Refridgerater, Washer & Dryer Set.  

All contributions will go directly to the family for replacing their losses up to the $10,000 goal.  Any additional funds raised above the $10,000 Goal will go to the Greater Houston 2015 Floods Relief Fund (http://www.houstontx.gov/mayor/press/greater-houston-2015-flood-relief-fund-now-open)
