Helenita's Medical Fund

Helenita is a 10 month old baby girl from Argentina. After several hospital admissions and a hydrocephalus surgery, she was diagnosed with Osteopetrosis. A rare genetic and degenerative disease. Her bones grow compact and that generates pressure in all the nerves in her tiny body. Helenita is suffering from pain, vision, and hearing loss. Needless to say, her life is in danger. The disease can be cured by a bone marrow transplant. The procedure is currently done at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children Hospital. 

After a month from her diagnosis Helenita's family was able to raise funds for her transplant and the first 100 days post transplant. Her journey to recovery will be long and expensive and Helenita needs our help. No donation is too small!
