Dawson's Place Supplies Fund

BLEA class 751 at the Police Academy is doing a class project to give back to our community. We want to benefit Dawson's Place Child Advocacy Center in Everett, Wa. Amazon Local Love did a face lift for Dawson's Place a year ago completely transforming the interior. We have been in correspondence with Dawson's Place and the organization is now in need of supplies for children of abuse and their families. Items such as coloring books, crayons, felt-tip markers, books, snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, small candy), small bottles of water, stress balls, small stuffed animals, etc.
The funds raised for this amazing organization will be replenishing their supplies for the kids & young adults, who come to Dawson Place for counseling, detective & forensic interviews. It will help make their encounter more comfortable—whether they’re anxious, scared, or hungry.
Dawson Place is a single location that provides all the core services needed by child victims of physical abuse, sexual assault, neglect, drug endangerment, or witness to a violent crime. The Crisis Center is located in Everett, Washington.
