Help David recover from his brain injury

Hi my name is Jeroen Nicolai and I've set up this gofundme page page for my brother David.
David had a motorcycle accident in 2016 and was diagnosed with a severe brain injury and has been in coma for almost a year. After a month on the ICU he was moved to a special rehabilitation centre to start on a very intense therapy program which focused on treating people with a traumatic brain injury .
After +/- 4 months of therapy David was still in coma and the doctors told us that there wasn't much left that they could do for us. So we as a family decided that we would take David home and continue with this intense therapy, which basically comes down to stimulating the brain continuously.
And with great success I must say, David woke up from his coma, is now communicating with an Ipad and keyboard, is moving his legs and one arm, is trying to talk, can eat regular food. And the list continues.
We're all very proud of David and love his fighting spirit to get the most out of a really bad situation.
So why this gofundme page? Well like everything in life things cost money and the more specialized it gets the more it will cost. For example a special machine we bought to train his arms and legs cost us 15000,- euro. And once a week of swimming therapy costs 500,- euro a pop so four times a month adds up to 2000,- euro. And we expected more and more costs the more David improves.
As you can imagine this isn't doable for a family over a longer period of time, but we don't want the lack of finances to be the reason for holding him back in his recovery. So that's why we turn to you and ask you to help David in reaching the maximum result possible.
