Dave successfully battled MDS Leukemia from October 2017 to 2018 only to have it return as AML in January 2019 and he passed away surrounded by family on March 1st.

My Dad spent his entire life making sure everyone around him was taken care of. I remember as a kid the insurance man coming to the house every few months for the life insurance premiums. As I was working on helping his wife Julie get their affairs in order it was one heartbreaking discovery after another. His pension did not have a survivor benefit so no more regular income and his life insurance had not vested. To put it bluntly his wife who took care of him for 26 years has zero income coming in on April 1. 

I am setting up this GoFund me to help with burial expenses and allow his wife Julie a month or two to find work.
