Darras Court Fire Community Support
$4,630 of $2,500 goal
Help the families affected by the fire on Darras Court on December 12th, 2015 in Brampton.
I am neighbour who witnessed this tragedy and will ensure all funds raised help support the families with necessary winter supplies. One child that was rushed outside wasn't wearing shoes, socks, shirt or jacket.
The fire burned from approximately 9:45 pm well into the morning. 8 families were evacuated. All assistance, large and small will go directly to supporting these families and letting them know their city cares.
We recently received a later from the Management company for these homes and have been advised that all 8 homes are considered unsafe and will need to be rebuilt.
The Christmas and Holiday cheer lives in the hearts of our community as we continue to support these families.
I want to take the time to say thank you to all who have donated and all who have spread the word and wish each and every one of you, your family and friends a truly wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.
Please feel free to contact me if you have in-kind donations that may be of use .
I'll keep you posted. And thanks so much for your support.
