Darlene vs Brain Tumor

Donation protected
My best friends here in Idaho, Darlene Ayers and her husband Mark were involved in a pretty bad automobile accident about 7 years ago - and we almost lost them both. Thankfully they recovered.
Recently - over the last 6-8 months, Darlene was having blurred vision, and then a few incidents of falling down, and then most recently, she was experiencing really bad headaches.  The headaches got so bad, that she finally had to go to a doctor a few weeks ago. She hadn't gone immediately because she doesn't have insurance.
The other day the nurse from the doctor's office calls and says, "well your tumor is bigger" - it is really hard to fathom such a conversation since Darlene was not aware that she had a tumor that could now be bigger.
Apparently, they compared her brain scans now with those taken when she was in the accident 7 years ago. Back then, they did an MRI on her brain, they saw a small tumor - but nobody felt that was important enough to inform her - possibly because they were busy treating the other life threatening issues, and it was never brought up.
Now the doctors ran tests and discovered the brain tumor was bigger and must come out.  She will be going to the neurosurgeon in about 3 weeks to have a full work up and determine the treatment plan for removal.
In researching the costs involved with removal of brain tumors, it looks like the minimum cost (assuming no complications - which we will be positive and hope there be no complications) is $50,000.
Since Darlene has been such a great friend and always there for friends in need, I feel it is time to return the love and help her in her time of need.  Prayers are great, but the doctors and hospital and rehab professionals won't accept prayers as currency to pay the bills.
Please donate as much as you can to help with the medical expenses that will be coming for surgery, anesthesia, hospital stay, rehabilitation, and remember that her husband Mark will also need our support - Mark and Darlene work together installing gutters - and this will affect their ability to complete jobs - since half his crew will be unable to work for awhile. So please help! Together Mark and Darlene have done so much for many of our friends - it is time to repay the love.
Thanks for your support.  We will be posting on facebook with updates on Darlene's progress - your support means a lot!
