Team Daniel

My name is Tracy and im Carols (Daniels mum) best friend. We have been friends for over 20 years. When we heard Daniels news, that he had Optical Atrophy and his vision would go within a short few years,  as Carols friends and family we wanted to do something to get Daniel to see everything in the world that he wants to see. We set up the go fund me page to see what we could raise for him. We never expected it to take off as much as it has. All of the funds raised will go directly to Carol and Kevin to pay for Daniels adventures. He wants to see San Franciscos golden gate bridge, he wants to see the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning tower if pisa. He wants to walk the great Wall of China and see so many amazing buildings and structures that he can. Some of the funds may be used for his medical expenses but that won't be too much. Every penny will go directly to Daniel to help him see the world!! 
 Daniel is a beautiful bubbly 8 year old boy with Autism. At the minute Dan is waiting for results of a genetic disorder, which in itself brings it's own complications. What we do know now is Dan has been diagnosed with Optical Atrophy. This means his eyesight will go within the next few years , he has also been fitted with hearing aids as he is losing his hearing too.
This is absolutely heartbreaking for his family and friends and we need to do something special for Dan before he loses these senses .
Dan loves nothing more in this world then his trains , and he has so much he wants to see in this world before that privilege is taken away from him. We want to try and raise as much money as possible to make some of this little man's dreams come true.
