Hello, everyone!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Danielle Gonsalves. I am an undergraduate Architecture student at Andrews University, an Adventist institution in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Ever since I was in 3rd grade, I had dreamed of being an architect (with help from my teacher Mrs. Murtaugh in Huntingdon Valley Christian Avademy in Pennsylvania), and I have been trying to reach that goal with each passing year. Now that I am in college (have been since 2015), I am so close to reaching that goal. But this isn't only about reaching my goal and doing what I love for a living, as it is unfortunate that some people aren't able to do what they love as their job: this is about helping my parents support me so that later on, I can support them.

Right now, money is tight in our family, and we are quickly running out of funds due to inevitable circumstances that we had to overcome, and unfortunate incidences. I could talk about how unfortunate my life has been, and/or I could talk about all my achievements as the "campaign expert" on GoFundMe says as I type this out. But if you do know me, you know that I always want honesty, and giving those flashy or not so flashy details won't help me with raising money and getting to school.

I don't want people to donate because of me guilt tripping them if I talk about the "bad parts" of my life, nor do I want people to donate because I would make myself seem like a goody-two-shoes if I give only my highlights. I want people to donate because they see a student in need, and more importantly, a young adult trying to achieve her goals, which include giving back to the parents who raised her and supported her. Just because the financial support is a bit low right now in my family doesn't mean they're not still trying, but their love and discipline can only help me go so far.

Please help donate to the cause of helping shape the future. Your donations don't have to be the full amount, or even something as generous as $500 (which is totally welcomed, by the way, LOL). It could even be as little as a few bucks, but every bit helps keep me in school. This money will be used for the 2018-2019 school year.

Thank you so much for all your help! And from the bottom of my heart, I hope you all have many blessings.
