Daniel Finch Funeral Fundraiser

Donation protected

It’s been a hectic few days for the family of Daniel Finch since he sadly passed away in his sleep. Daniel was loved by many and tragically passed  Sunday 17th May 2015 at the young age of 21, leaving behind devastated family, friends and a girlfriend. Losing anyone you know is upsetting enough, but to lose your child is incomparable - therefore we’re all doing our best to give Daniel what he deserves most on his final send off.  We are still no closer to knowing what took Dan from us, and won't know until long after the funeral.

With Dan being 21 years old you can imagine how hard it is for his Mum, Dad and his little sister, you also have to take into consideration that they weren’t ready for such a tragic incident to occur, therefore we will be forever grateful for any donations that we can raise for Daniel and his forever loving memory.  Dan had his whole life ahead of him, a job interview for the Thursday following the day he sadly passed, and his first holiday abroad coming up in August with his girlfriend Laura (pictured below).

“On top of the pain and heartache this has caused, his parent's were never financially prepared to be having to plan their son's funeral. We are all doing what we can” – Jenni Young (Cousin)

I am writing this Go Fund Me as a point of view from a friend, I was one of Daniels friends and would like to class myself as one of his closest friends. Dan (Finchy) was only 21 years old and was everything you’d want in a young man.

I’m finding it difficult to type this out right now, as there is so much to put into perspective; it’s so hard to explain how Dan was and what made him so special that he had to be taken away from us so early. It doesn’t matter how you look at the attitude or personality of Dan, he always shined above the rest as his laugh, smile and his company were delightful as he was a down to earth and mature lad that was full of laughs, giggles and would never let life get the best of him by constantly staying up on a positive note and taking every day as it comes - doing what he loved day in and day out (mostly playing Xbox!), he’s the type of man anyone would love to meet and there isn’t anyone I can name or relate to that is as polite and easy going as he was and that alone is enough to cause anyone to miss him dearly.

Dan had an interest that not many people know of as far as I’m aware and was something he and his mate Josh wanted to do together, the dream was to head to London, start from nothing and work their way up to the top… He had interests in all types of things such as gaming, films, cars and more importantly motorbikes, it was only months ago he told Josh he was going to begin saving for a road bike, unfortunately the dream has come to an end but Daniel's memory hasn’t - therefore we’re all sticking together and cherishing the moments we all had with him.

Daniel himself would be very grateful for the donations we can receive for his family to help with his send off. They are not well off, they do not have savings - they've struggled for every penny they have had and now have lost their son. Please donate what you can, no matter how small - and any kind messages or memories you have of Dan would be a great source of support for his parent's - any left here will be copied and given to the family after the funeral.

30/06/93 - 17/05/15 Our big kind hearted soft lad, taken too soon but didn't suffer. Dan had a fab life that was filled with fun, love and laughter. Not to forget the grumping and snoring LOL. Rest easy son, love you to infinity and beyond - Julie Finch (Dan's Mum)
