The word has gone out to all my contacts to pray for Det. Brite, family and law enforcement persons who are affected by this situation. You don't know me but the actions of the law enforcement community that day help to protect my wife working at the hospital near the entrances on the main floor. I am grateful and you have my support and prayers.

I was fortunate enough to meet Det. Brite's wife, brother and best friend this weekend at a local fundraiser. They were all warm, wonderful people - exactly what Det. Brite will need on the long road to recovery. So grateful for the opportunity to help and support them on this journey.

Hi, you probably don't know me. My son was at Craig hospital with you. He was your physical therapy partner. His name is Jacob Umphress. We were involved in a major car accident here in Parker and he became paralyzed. I just want to thank you. Your motivation and preservation helped him so much. So thank you not only for your service but also with your help. We think about your family and you so much. I would love to be in touch.
