Daniel st. croix my nephew was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer in 2016, at the age of 32. Talk about strength, this guy worked as an Iron worker ... never missing a days work.  He tried to work for as long as he could out west until he was just to sick to walk, He had no choice but to return home after numerous chemo and radiation treatments. He has completed the treatment and is in the recovery phase. We are not sure of the results of the treatment, his prognosis will be until he returns out West.  He's rebuidling his body..... and his life........ On his behalf I'm seeking funding to allow him to return West Manitoba, when his health allows him to. If you could be so kind and help him that would be great.

I would like to thank everyone who helped my nephew in his time of need regarding his recovery. Removing his financial burden seriously helped him to focus strictly on gaining weight after his radiation and chemotherapy treatment. He's now returned home to Manitoba.. and he's started working today. His boss insist that as a supervisor he needs to focus more on supervisory activities, and less of the physical aspects of the job. It's difficult for him to sit back and watch the guys work. Its people like Daniel who help build our city's, these guys are the true hero's. The rod busters..! Steal workers.. the re-bar guys. Once again thank you so much. We will keep you informed regarding his future prognosis. Send white light and prayers his way please.. many thanks.

5 Minutes of your time: https://www.mycanceriq.ca/ Young adults with Cancer it's a challenge because it's uncommon for young adults to get cancer. They typically don't have a financial foundation and their career start is halted. Navigating the healthcare system can be difficult. Radiation and chemotherapy damage the healthy cells while terminating the unhealthy cells which cause the cancer. Growing up in a family with relative health from my own perspective I just thought something like this wasn't even on the plate for any of us, let alone my nephew. Suddenly a young adult in the family becomes victim. Speaking for myself, and I'm sure others; I'm so completely completely grateful that his cancer although stage 4 was caught prior to it spreading. So if everyone would do me a favour friends and family and please take 5 minutes of your time To check out your cancer score. Many cancers are treatable if caught early. Why be a statistic? Daniel is returning to Manitoba, He had to come to Toronto after the treatment as he was to sick to look after himself and afraid he might die. His treatment is finished. He returns to Manitoba on April 9th and will have tests completed to see if he's in the clear which is our hope and his hope.
"What a day. I'm alive!

Please don't assume because you are young cancer won't strike you. ....I can't stress enough for everyone regardless of age to please know your susceptibility to cancer. https://www.mycanceriq.ca/..................Cardboard eating is better than not eating. Any calories inside his body are a good thing. Thanks to his supporters his flight ticket is booked for his return home in 3 weeks. He's looking forward to returning to work and living his life again. Once he returns he will find out his prognosis. Had he of waited longer to get diagnosed the prognosis would have been dire. His mother insisted on him getting checked out due to a lump in his neck. Please please figure out your cancer score so many of these things are curable if caught at an early stage. Share this hell out of this message. If it just saves one persons life getting checked out.
