My Journey Through Seminary

My name is Dana Cox. I describe myself on social media accounts as "a Christian wife/mother/friend hoping to display my love for Jesus and the grace God gives." I have discerned a call to seminary and have been accepted by University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
Although I will be able to take loans for tuition (and hope to earn scholarships in future semesters) I have an immediate need as I am able to begin in just two short weeks. I am trying to raise funds to help my family for the first two weeks that I am required to be at seminary, beginning August 5, 2017, which means I really only have one week to try to reach my goal.
I will not receive wages for the two weeks. I must pay for a hotel for that time. I purchased 9 books and need to cover travel and one meal each day. Helping me to do this will help me to move forward in my call to share God's love and mercy with others.
God's love, grace, and mercy pulled me from the pit of despair after the death of my 15 year-old son and I want others to find the hope that I have found. Answering this call and helping others see the light of an amazing God who loves us all means everything to me and I am humbled to make this request. Can you help?
