Help Dan beat AML

Last month, Dan Kresge was on stage playing his ukulele with friends and family at a talent show. Now he's fighting for his life.
In mid February, just a week after the talent show, Dan came down with a severe cold. On February 23rd he was admitted to the hospital for three days to treat an infection in his legs. One day after being discharged from the hospital, Dan received a 6:30 PM call from the oncologist with the diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). On February 28th Dan was admitted to the hospital and began cycle 1 of chemotherapy.
Dan is a family man - he and his wife, Stacy, have been married for 24 years. Their oldest son, Miles, is on a full time mission for 2 years serving the people of Fiji. Their only daughter, Sydney, will start high school in the fall and their youngest son, Carter, starts middle school in the fall. This is a very tight family and there have been a lot of emotional video calls to Fiji, lengthy visits to the hospital, and shuffling the kids around between friends and family.
Dan and Stacy are also very generous with their time. They are both very involved in their church and community. They're always the first to raise their hands when someone needs help. Or a ride somewhere. Or a car fixed. Or a visit. Or an encouraging word. Or anything else that helps someone. Now it's our turn to help.
The survival rate for adults with AML is 24%. Fortunately, Dan is a fighter. Also fortunate is that he is in a world class cancer center and part of their treatment protocol includes a cutting edge stem cell transplant at Stanford Medical Center. One of his siblings will be the donor, which will hopefully allow Dan's immune system to 'reboot' and eliminate all signs of AML.
This treatment can save Dan's life, but it comes with a cost. While insurance is covering the treatment itself, he and Stacy have to move to one of the most expensive zip codes in the country for at least 90 days while Dan undergoes the stem cell transplant and recovery. He'll also need someone with him at all times when he's not in the hospital. This also means more frequent (and expensive) shuffling around for the rest of the family.
With the aggressive chemotherapy and extensive hospital stays, Dan can not continue to work until after these treatments. Unable to continue working part time, Stacy spends her time caring for Dan and the children. The funds raised through this campaign will pay for:
1 - A place for the family to stay while Dan is receiving treatment at Stanford
2 - Pay the medical expenses that insurance doesn't cover
3 - Pay the bills that disability can't.
